He works directly with contractors and developers to ensure every project is delivered on time, on spec, and with the consistency required for large-scale and multi-unit builds.
My Story
As Founder and CEO of Nielsen Blinds, Shutters & Shades, Troy Nielsen brings nearly 20 years of experience delivering commercial window treatment solutions across multi-family, hospitality, and large-scale construction projects.
Troy has led projects ranging from single-story commercial spaces to multi-story developments, with tens of thousands of units installed nationwide. He is well-versed in the full project lifecycle—from bidding and take-offs through installation and final delivery—ensuring every phase is aligned, efficient, and built to perform.
Known for his hands-on approach, Troy works directly with general contractors, owners, and installation crews to manage jobsite complexity, maintain timelines, and uphold safety and quality standards across every project.
His focus is simple: take ownership, communicate clearly, and deliver consistent results at scale. That mindset has positioned Nielsen BSS as a trusted partner for contractors and developers who need reliable execution across multi-unit and large-scale builds.
